In a talk back after the premiere of First Date, Last Call, the filmmakers Michael Tyler (writer/actor/producer) and Sam Garland (actor/producer) discussed

what sparked the idea for the film and shared behind the scenes stories from the making of the film.

We were joined by Kathryn Green, an Empowerment Life Coach, who shared her story

of surviving the loss of a loved one to suicide, as well as the lessons she has learned since and

what has given her the strength to make sense of the loss.

And we welcomed Dr. Vanessa McGann, PhD, a force in the education of suicide prevention

in both her private practice and in national organizations like

the American Association of Suicidology.
